Angela Cipollone

Angela has started to practice Ashtanga in 2007 in the AYRI Institute in Rome.
In March 2015, being already deeply involved in the Ashtanga Yoga practice, she started her training in this institute as Ashtanga teacher. She started off with assisting in Mysore lessons, adjusting in the primary series and gaining first valuable experiences as a teacher.
In 2016 she attended the In-Depth-Study with Lino Miele attaining the authorization to teach the first Ashtanga Series in the tradition of Sri Pattabhi Jois. Lino Miele has been committing himself to this form of practice for many years in order to preserve it and pass it on to his students.

Since 2013 she has been going to Lino Miele’s shala, in India, once a year for about 6 to 8 weeks. There she works next to the master, helping to assist his students. This gives room for a continous learing process that is quite unique in comparison to others Teacher Training Courses which follow the Indian tradition of knowledge transmission.

In December 2017 Angela went to Mysore to study Pranayama with Guruji BNS Iyengar at Krishnamacharia Yoga Foundation Institute of Mysore, India.
At the moment she intensifies her practice with Tina Pizzimenti. Being a devoted student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Tina dedicated her whole life to Ashtanga Yoga, teaching and promoting it accordingly to the tradition.

Angela teaches regularly at Ashtanga San Saba. Over the years she has been invited to teach Ashtanga Yoga Riccione (2017); Ashtanga Firenze (2018) and in Ashtanga Yoga Mitte in Stuttgart (Jan 2020).
