MYSORE: Mysore lessons are for advanced students or students who already know the sequence. You start and end your practice within the given time frame.
LED CLASS: Led Classes are for absolute beginners who have never practiced this discipline before or who don’t know the sequence. Led classes last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The first trial lesson is free, how to find us.
ENGLISH SPEAKING TEACHERS
For beginners
Beginners of Ashtanga Yoga will start with a teacher-led lesson. The teacher tells you
what to do and talks you through the sequence. After some time, you will have
learned the sequence by heart and will be able to perform it independently (Mysore Practice). The teacher will be present at all times to support, adjust and guide you. The teacher will also assign you to new postures if he sees your practice to be fit for it.
Regular practice is recommended. You should start off your practice twice a week. After time, when you and your body are used to practicing Ashtanga you can increase your practice.
We recommend comfortable clothing, you need a towel for personal use and a yoga mat (no worries, for your first training we will give you one). Ashtanga is practiced barefootedly on an empty stomach (don’t eat anything at least 4 hours before you start practicing). We also recommend leaving your jewellery at home and not using perfume before the practice.
